Patient Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in, ensuring a seamless and reassuring entry into care.
• Provide clear, accessible information about their scheduled exam and what to expect during and after their appointment.\
• Educate patients on SimonMed’s AI-enhanced digital health programs (e.g., PBCD) elective and recommended screenings.
• Review records in advance and/or after the exam, explain supplementary screenings and schedule the relevant exams for the patient.
• Help patients acquire the necessary paperwork from their provider for easy processing. Answer questions and support patients with enrollment to our digital health programs and
  platform.
• Support patients in understanding pricing and coverage of digital health programs and elective screenings.
• Collect payments and ensure appropriate documentation for program enrollment.
• Act as a liaison between site operations and the Marketing team to share qualitative feedback from patients and staff on how to improve programs and patient experience.
• Provide on-the-ground insight into what messaging and programs are resonating, and what barriers or confusion exist.
• Ensure patient experience and marketing materials are up to date and presented appropriately
• Champion the launch of new services and campaigns on-site.
• Ensure frontline staff are aware of current offerings and have access to the latest educational materials.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in customer service, healthcare, hospitality, or patient-facing roles
  
• Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, empathetic presence
  
• Comfortable learning/discussing medical and technical offerings in plain language
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, clinical setting
  
• Experience with point-of-sale systems or payment collection is a plus
  
• Bilingual abilities a strong asset
