Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to promote optimal oral health.
- Assist dentists during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
- Take and interpret vital signs and medical imaging to assess patient health status prior to treatment.
- Review medical records and documentation to ensure accurate patient histories and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental health.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week
