Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Shipping Take-Off Associate to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will take completed cartons off of conveyor among other duties.
Duties:
- Take completed cartons off of conveyor
- Palletize cartons
- Wrap cartons onto pallet
- Shrink wrap pallets
- Stage pallets on shipping dock
- Floor load trailers
- Operate low rider
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to read shipping labels
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Available for overtime as needed
- Ability to operate low rider (preferred)
- High School Diploma (preferred)
- Ability to communicate effectively when needed
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to follow directions
SCHEDULED WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
