What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Coordinator position at Simon's Trucking Inc.?
The Operations Coordinator provides clerical and administrative support to Fleet Managers and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Build and enter loads into the TMS accurately and timely.
- Review load information for accuracy, including customer, rate, pickup/delivery, equipment, and special requirements.
- Monitor workflow throughout the day and follow up on outstanding or incomplete items.
- Ensure load information and updates are communicated to the appropriate Fleet Manager.
- Review completed loads for required paperwork and information prior to billing.
- Assist with preparing loads for billing and resolving missing or incorrect documentation.
- Maintain and update operational spreadsheets, reports, and tracking documents.
- Enter and maintain information across various company websites and customer/vendor portals.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative tasks supporting daily operations.
- Identify discrepancies or missing information and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
- Provide backup support to the Operations team as needed.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date operational records.
