The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. Duties
- Coordinate, track and report all import freight movement.
- Primary liaison with import vendor and carriers.
- Provide import title status updates and support during weekly release meetings.
- Provide assistance with new account import services and set up.
- Coordinate the selection, routing and reporting of direct bindery shipments.
- Provide routing support and status updates for VAS/Work Order freight movement.
- Provide routing instructions for domestic inbound freight as requested.
- Provide transportation rates as requested.
- Administrative Back Up for Transportation
- Perform data analysis as needed.
- Perform other departmental functions as required.
- Serve as a backup coverage for 2nd shift
- High School Diploma
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; able to read and interpret written information. Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel
- Ability to work efficiently in a high paced environment
- Ability to multi task: handle pressure/delegate information
- MS Office (Access/Excel intermediate skill level)
- Ability/willingness to learn internal and external Website software
