Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable, professional, and observant Security Observation Specialists to join our event security team. This is a stationary observation position—not patrol or mobile security. Your primary responsibility is to remain at your assigned observation post, monitor activity, document incidents, and promptly report security concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain a fixed observation post throughout your assigned shift.
*Observe, monitor, and accurately report suspicious activity or security concerns.
*Be the eyes and ears for the company by immediately escalating security breaches or incidents.
*Complete clear, accurate, and timely incident reports.
*Maintain a professional, respectful, and non-confrontational demeanor at all times.
* Be able to lift and move up to 15 pounds (e.g., a small barrier, signage, or personal equipment).
What This Position Is NOT:
* This is a non-confrontational role. You will not be required to perform any physical restraining, make physical contact with any individual, or engage in altercations.
* This is not a patrol or mobile security position. Your duties will be centered at a fixed observation post.
Compensation Details: $18- $19 per hour. Independent Contractor (1099)
Payment Schedule:
Payment is issued TWO WEEKS AFTER the event or assignment has concluded.
Requirements:
*Security Guard License
*Punctual, dependable, and committed to every scheduled assignment.
*Arrive early enough to clock in and be at your post on time.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Strong sense of responsibility, situational awareness, and attention to detail.
*Professional appearance and respectful attitude.
