We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented Blueprint / Auto Body Technician who takes pride in quality work and understands the importance of collaboration in a busy collision repair environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team, helping where needed, and contributing to the overall success of the shop.
While your primary responsibility will be blueprinting vehicles and identifying all repair needs upfront, we're looking for someone who is willing to jump in and assist teammates with vehicle reassembly, final fit and finish, and other production needs when blueprint work is caught up. We value employees who are flexible, supportive, and committed to keeping vehicles moving efficiently through the shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete vehicle tear-downs and damage assessments
- Create accurate repair blueprints and identify all required repairs
- Document hidden damage and communicate findings to estimators and management
- Assist with parts verification and organization
- Support production flow by helping with vehicle reassembly and put-togethers when blueprint work is complete
- Work closely with body technicians, painters, estimators, and management to ensure repairs stay on schedule
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow manufacturer and company repair procedures
Qualifications
- Previous collision repair, body technician, or blueprinting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle construction and repair procedures
- Ability to identify structural, mechanical, and cosmetic damage
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to manage time effectively
Requirements
- Must have your own tools
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
