Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and profit goals through strategic account management and new business development.
- Identify and pursue new customer opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current accounts.
- Deliver effective, technical sales presentations and provide product application support.
- Coordinate and attend trade shows, regional events, and customer seminars to promote Simmons products and services.
- Negotiate pricing and purchasing contracts in collaboration with management.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity, providing timely feedback and recommendations.
- Provide on-site customer service including training, warranty assistance, and updates on new product offerings.
- Ensure customers receive timely communication on product changes and technical updates.
- Partner with the marketing team to ensure materials, catalogs, and online content meet customer expectations.
- Share customer insights to guide product development and marketing initiatives.
- Provide regular territory reports and sales forecasts to the sales management team.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments to address customer needs and improve service delivery.
Territory:
Based out of Willcox, AZ, with travel throughout Greater Arizona and Western New Mexico
Residency Requirement:
Must reside within the assigned territory; candidates located near the center of the territory are preferred.
Qualifications
- Proven outside sales experience in agriculture, irrigation, or a related industrial market preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
