What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Closing/Production Coordinator position at Simmons & Kourtis?
Simmons Homes, LLC is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Residential Closing/Production Coordinator to manage homebuilding schedules, maintain customer files, coordinate construction milestones, and oversee the administrative process from production through closing. This position works closely with construction superintendents, lenders, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure homes are completed and closed on schedule.
Responsibilites Include:
- Maintain and update schedules for production, walk throughs, orientation and closings.
- Review customer files for accuracy, request checks for permits and distribute files to superintendents when field ready.
- Coordinate appraisals and navigate any disputes with lender and management. Submit contract and sales supplementals to lender.
- Create closing packet with pretreats, aerobic system, DEQ, house keys, pool keys and other necessary items for homeowners.
- Maintain accurate records in Newstar and related tracking systems.
- Prepare incentive paperwork and assist with other production and closing administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative or coordination experience required. Residential construction, homebuilding, real estate, or mortgage experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Newstar or similar software a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
