About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Painter to join our team at SIMI STOVE LIMITED. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in painting techniques, color theory, and surface preparation to work on a variety of heavy equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize power spray equipment and brushes to prime, paint, and touch up vehicles.
- Ensure specifications are met by masking, unmasking, or adjusting masking as necessary.
- Sand, wash, and condition parts as needed.
- Disassemble, clean, repair, adjust, and reassemble painting equipment for proper operation.
- Mix paints for proper color, formula, conditions, viscosity, and consistency.
- Perform titrations and mix or adjust chemicals as necessary.
- Apply decals, stencils, and rustproofing as required.
Requirements:
- Three years of experience in painting in automotive or heavy vehicle/equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- BASIC mechanical aptitude.
