What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Architect – OTC Core Product Area position at SimCorp A/S?

We are looking for a System Architect to be a technical leader for our OTC Core product area. You will work with SimCorp Dimension as well as new cloud-based services on our journey to market leading front office. The position As a System Architect you are a technical leader. You collaborate with all roles to enable our engineering teams to deliver the maximum business value. You are part of a team of system architects where you define SimCorp’s Architectural runway with the aim of creating new solutions and keeping existing solutions fit for purpose. You work both with technology, engineering practices, pipelines, and business outcomes. The OTC Core product area build software that handle the full life cycle of OTC instruments, from simulating and executing trades, valuation through to handling life cycle events. We combine functional programming in OCaml with financial modelling using Lexifi, and we use .Net technologies, APIs and CI/CD pipelines to enable the functionality in SimCorp Dimension and new cloud native services. What you will be responsible for: You own the architectural runway for the OTC Core product area You work with the Director of Engineering and Product Manager to drive execution of an ambitious delivery plan for the OTC Core product area You are responsible for implementing technical leadership within Product Areas You are responsible for communicating architectural vision, strategy and make architectural runway transparent both inside and outside of Product Areas. You are a member of the Architecture Guild ensuring aligned architectural strategy and runway across SimCorp. You will work with engineering teams to validate the economic impact of design decisions. You will be mentor for Tech Leads within your area. What we value: A technical leader (5 years of experience ).
