Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Application Engineer role located in Chandler, AZ. The Field Application Engineer will support customers in the design, integration, and optimization of SIMCom wireless modules and solutions, providing technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities include answering technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, preparing and delivering technical presentations, and collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to relay customer feedback, assist in application notes and reference designs, and ensure successful product evaluations and design wins. The Field Application Engineer will also participate in product training, documentation review, and occasional customer visits within the region.

Qualifications
- Strong Field Applications experience, including supporting customer designs and providing on-site technical guidance.
- Technical Support skills for diagnosing issues, resolving problems, and communicating clear solutions to customers.
- Sales collaboration skills to assist with pre-sales and post-sales activities, understand customer needs, and contribute to design wins.
- Solid Analog knowledge and practical experience with electronic circuits and signal integrity.
- Foundational Electronics skills, including familiarity with embedded systems, wireless communication, and RF fundamentals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and technical documentation; proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working on-site with customers and internal teams, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cellular communication technologies and IoT applications is highly beneficial.
