Job Title: Snowflake Technical Lead

Location: Burbank, CA (Onsite from Day 1)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Technical Lead to join a fast-paced enterprise data team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader passionate about building scalable data pipelines, financial data models, and analytics solutions in cloud environments.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, governed data solutions that power financial insights and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain scalable pipelines to integrate financial and operational data (GL, invoices, headcount, budgets) into Snowflake
• Data Modeling & Semantic Layers: Partner with architects to create robust data models that support flexible reporting and analytics
• Cost Allocation & Financial Logic: Implement complex cost allocation frameworks and multi-layer financial models using advanced SQL and Python
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, finance teams, AI/ML engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-impact solutions
• Automation & Optimization: Leverage tools like DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake Tasks to streamline workflows and improve performance
• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure accuracy, auditability, and compliance through reconciliation processes and IT controls
• Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide operational support, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements to the data platform

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong exposure to Snowflake
• Advanced SQL expertise (CTEs, window functions, complex transformations)
• Hands-on experience with Python for ETL/ELT, automation, or analytics
• Proven track record of building and maintaining enterprise-scale data pipelines
• Strong experience in financial data modeling, including cost allocation and financial planning
• Experience with DBT, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP, ServiceNow, Clarity, Cognos Planning, etc.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including working with non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI / Generative AI tools
• Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks
• Understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
