WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Our HR Manager oversees various human resource aspects to ensure legal compliance, increase employee engagement, and maintain a strong workforce. Here's a closer look:
- Updating human resource policies and business handbook to comply with changing laws
- Appropriately managing confidential information and human resource records
- Overseeing compliance tracking, incident reporting, and benefits enrollment
- Leading talent acquisition efforts by posting jobs, screening candidates, interviewing prospects, and extending offers
- Supporting new hire onboarding, providing system training, and making adjustments based on feedback
- Building talent pipelines by proactively sourcing candidates and fostering community partnerships
- Assisting leadership with investigations, employee relations, corrective actions, and employee retention
- Organizing company events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities while monitoring engagement
- Leading performance review cycles and coaching managers on employee development, goal setting, and career planning
- Supporting training program development
HR Manager Goals:
- Ensure 100% of new hires finish onboarding within 90 days
- Ensure 100% of eligible employees enroll in/waive benefits on time
- Fill open roles within an average of 45 days
- Maintain HRIS and personnel files with 98% to 100% accuracy
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Bachelor's degree in a field like business or human resources OR an equivalent amount of HR experience
- 3 years of HR generalist or management experience, ideally with a multi-location or service-based business
- Proven success in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits management
- Demonstrated ability to influence culture, increase engagement, and build talent pipelines
- Knowledge of employment law and HR practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Human resource certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
- Automotive/trade industry experience
- Familiarity with HR software (HRIS), applicant tracking, and training platforms
