Position: PostgreSQL / Oracle DBA
Location: Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Rate:60/hr on w2
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support PostgreSQL and Oracle databases in AWS Aurora environment
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations
- Monitor database performance, tuning, and optimization
- Ensure high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide performance improvements
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle DBA activities
- Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL or compatible engines)
- Expertise in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security
- Experience with database migration and cloud environments
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
