Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Conduct audiology evaluations and screenings as needed
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective speech therapy programs
Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and evidence-based treatment methods
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited institution
Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) as a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP)
licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Illinois
Minimum of years of experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting (years preferred)
