Human Resources HR Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts of all departments to fill openings in the staffing as needed by the facility.
- Coordinates with the RSP home office in the to adjust payroll, process documents for new hires and notification of the managers of the department when staff reviews, tests or other items are needed to update
- Maintains all files of the personal, Deals with public, staff, residents, families and co-workers
- Assist nursing in monitoring their staffing schedule
- Keeps up to date with EEOC, state and federal regulations and keeps updated posting as required by state and federal law
- Handles confidential data and communicates with administrator requests by department heads to access such data
- Screens and processes applications for new hires to ensure that that the applications meet minimum standards before and after the managers interview
- Performs all needed pre-hire background checks (EDL, Family Registry, C.N.A. registry, etc)
- Assists with monitoring disciplinary actions
- Assist the administrator in monitoring workmans compensation
- Orientation of all new employees to the facility
