We are seeking an energetic CNA to join our team at Silverstone Skilled Nursing.
- Registered Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA
CNA available shifts:
- Full Time
- Days 6a-6p or
- Mon-Fri plus every other weekend rotation

CNA - Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Takes care of patients’ personal hygiene by assisting with or giving bed baths, showers; toileting by offering bedpans and walking patients to the toilet; providing skin care and keeping patients clean at all times; dressing routines.
- Helps direct resident restorative needs as dictated by care plans.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
- Complies with HIPAA Privacy Act by protecting confidential patient information.
- Participates in all training and continuing education. Maintains licensure to meet federal, state and accreditation standards.
- Enhances nursing department and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
CNA Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in patient care a plus
- Team player
- Attends classes as scheduled if nursing assistant
- Multi-tasking skills
- Effective oral, written, and reading communication skills
- Understands legal implications of patient care
- 18 years of age or older
