We are currently seeking a Part Time Painter to join our team! The Painter prepares surfaces for painting and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials; mixes and matches paints and finishes. - Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.
- Performing all assigned duties including, but not limited to; trash pick-up, plumbing, heating & cooling systems, electrical and furniture moving.
- Working on off-duty hours, if called, in an emergency situation including, but not limited to snow storms; hurricanes; floods; fires; essential equipment failures or malfunction. A minimum of three (3) hours will be paid for any call-in situation.
- Assisting on weekend coverage with other maintenance staff.
- Assume responsibility for self-safety and that of the immediate environment.
- Reporting all problems to the Director of Plant Operation regularly and in emergencies.
- Being available for emergency on call on an alternating basis with other maintenance staff.
- Attending annual in-service programs including, but not limited to, body mechanics, right-to-know information, and fire and safety procedures.

- Some mechanical and electrical knowledge and a working knowledge of the trades.
- Must be in good physical health and able to perform difficult tasks at times.
- Must have ability to read, speak, and write and follow simple oral instructions.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of commercial painting experience.
