Silverside Plumbing Co. is a new residential plumbing company in Bellingham, Washington. We're building something different — a professionally run, technology-forward plumbing company that takes care of its people and its customers. We use flat rate pricing, modern scheduling software, and a systematic approach to customer service that sets us apart from the typical trades operation.
We're looking for our first plumber — the person who sets the standard for every hire that comes after them.
The Role
You'll be running residential service calls independently across Whatcom County. Most of your work comes through property management companies — consistent, recurring volume without the chaos of chasing one-off jobs. You'll be the face of Silverside on every job site.
This is a ground floor opportunity. You're not joining a 20-person company as employee number 14. You're joining as employee number one at a company being built the right way from the start.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running 3-4 residential service calls per day independently
- Fixture repairs and replacements — faucets, toilets, disposals, water heaters
- Drain clearing and leak repairs
- Communicating directly with tenants and property managers
- Collecting Google reviews at job completion using our proven system
- Logging jobs and invoicing through Housecall Pro on your phone
What We're Looking For
- Active Washington State Residential Specialty Plumber certification (PL02) — required
- Clean driving record
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Self-sufficient - you can run a full day of calls without hand-holding
- Someone who takes pride in clean work and leaving a job site better than they found it
