- Develop T-SQL stored procedures, views, and transformations for high-performance data processing.
- Partner closely with Data Analytics teams to build and maintain Power BI semantic models and DAX-based KPIs.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and consistency across large-scale environments.
- Improve performance, optimize cloud data workloads, and strengthen governance.
- Produce clear documentation for data models, logic, and technical processes.
- Stay current with Azure and data engineering best practices to support continuous improvement.

- Deep hands-on expertise with:
- Microsoft T-SQL
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI (semantic modeling a plus)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data mart architecture.
- Experience building pipelines, optimizing SQL, and supporting analytics teams.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business, data, and technical stakeholders.
- Background in P&C insurance data (policy, claims, underwriting, actuarial) is highly preferred, but not mandatory for strong technical candidates.
- Experience working with enterprise insurance data models (ACORD, IBM, etc.) is a plus.
