Full-Time Armed Security Supervisor - Midtown, Manhattan

Overview
Silverseal is seeking a highly trained and vigilant Armed Security Supervisor to join our team to oversee operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of the premises while managing staff effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to handle conflicts, and a keen eye for loss prevention. The Armed Shift Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through surveillance and proactive management.

Site: Corporate Office

Shifts: Weekdays, 8-hour shifts

*This position is a W-2 Position*

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff during shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to maintain safety and security protocols.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Handle conflict management situations effectively, ensuring resolution while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises, including buildings and surrounding areas.
• Provide training and support to staff on emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, staff performance, and shift activities for reporting purposes.
• Carry and properly maintain authorized weapons, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• New York State Armed Security Guard License
• HR-218 NYPD
• Proven experience in security, security supervisor, law enforcement, or military service required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education or relevant training preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with firearms safety and use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
