We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at a Hampton Inn Rockford. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details using hotel management software.
- Operate phone systems to respond to calls promptly and assist guests with their needs.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in promoting hotel services and activities to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and phone systems is advantageous.
