What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concierge position at Silvergate Fallbrook?
The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and support to enhance the resident experience. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, answering inquiries, coordinating services, and assisting with day-to-day administrative and resident needs. This is a position responsible for actively communicating with residents and staff to ensure that quality customer service is provided.
Resident Services
- Assist with activities and events as needed
- Respond to residents' needs with courtesy and promptness
- Make coffee and provide early morning coffee and newspaper delivery service. Concierge no longer provides coffee or newspaper deliveries at the Rancho Bernardo location.
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate with the kitchen for room service requests Concierge serve as a bridge for services between residents and all service departments including Wellness Center, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Activities Transportation and Security.
- Ensure that staff is keeping the kitchen and dining area clean and stocked The ability to coordinate multiple requests and respond in a timely manner
- Leading, monitoring, and inspiring the east building team, providing guidance and support.
Administrative Support
- Perform office duties as necessary and maintain an orderly workstation
- First point of contact
- Train and communicate with the weekend and p.m. staff
- Complete daily status report for shift and communicate to the following shift
- Accurately update spreadsheets to track the services provided to residents
- Responsible for maintaining a smooth workflow in the East Building Strike “East Building”. Concierge support all locations on the property and are not limited to a specific building.
- Coordinate and deliver items, e.g. weekly dry cleaning, packages, mail, etc., to resident apartments
Office and Supply Management
- Purchase resident room plaques and employee name badges, review spelling before distribution
Additional Physical & Visual Requirements
- Stand for long periods of time
- Walk extended distances
- Lift/carry 6-25 lbs.
- Reach hands and arms in any direction
- Kneel and/or stoop repeatedly
- Work overtime and irregular hours
- Handle high-pressure, and emotionally challenging situations
Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour
