About the Job
SilverBack is recruiting on behalf of a client for experienced Turnover Engineers to support a major Life Sciences pharmaceutical construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. You will play a critical role in managing the transition from construction through commissioning and final handover, ensuring systems are completed, documented, and accepted by the client's operations team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale pharmaceutical project within a multidisciplinary EPC environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Turnover Management: Implement and manage structured turnover plans, including system and subsystem completion.
- Documentation Coordination: Coordinate turnover packages throughout the project lifecycle and ensure all completion records and dossiers are accurate and complete.
- System Walkdowns: Plan and participate in system walkdowns with Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Client representatives.
- Punch List Management: Coordinate punch list generation, tracking, and close-out to support project completion.
- Mechanical & Systems Completion: Support Mechanical Completion, Systems Completion, commissioning readiness, and final client handover.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with Construction, Engineering, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Operations teams while supporting project milestones and turnover schedules.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in Turnover, Systems Completion, Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, or Project Handover.
- Industry Background: Proven experience on large industrial construction projects, preferably within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Semiconductor, or Mission-Critical sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of turnover documentation, handover processes, systems completion, and mechanical/electrical building systems.
- Project Experience: Experience managing system walkdowns, punch lists, and coordinating with Construction, QA/QC, Engineering, Commissioning, and Client teams.
- Project Environment: Experience working within multidisciplinary EPC or General Contractor environments.
