Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on motorcycles using diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire replacements, and fluid checks to keep bikes in top condition.
- Repair and replace mechanical components such as brakes, suspension parts, and drive systems with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques to assemble, disassemble, and repair motorcycle parts.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large or heavy motorcycle components during repairs or assembly.
- Inspect motorcycles thoroughly to ensure safety standards are met before returning vehicles to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance solutions to clients.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with motorcycles or similar vehicles.
- Strong diagnostics skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Mechanical knowledge of motorcycle systems including brakes, suspension, electrical wiring, and engine components.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and vehicle assembly processes.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance routines such as oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension adjustments.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs.
