Silver Tree Residential, LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Property Accountant to join our growing team. This position will work from our East Memphis office and will work closely with Community Directors and other accounting staff.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements for each property
- Post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements in compliance with state laws, regulations, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Review and process weekly property invoices for accuracy
- Manage vendor payments based on due dates and available cash flow
- Monthly financial report review, supporting the Accounting Managers/CAO/CFO
- Working with assigned accountants to train as needed
- Provide support in various aspects of property accounting as needed
- Assist with special projects and other accounting-related tasks as assigned
Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 3 years general ledger accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Savvy computer skills
- Organization and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in property accounting is a PLUS
