Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cardiology Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic cardiovascular team. In this vital role, you will perform echocardiographic procedures, carotid ultrasounds, lower extremity artery ultrasounds and lower extremity venous insufficiency imaging, exercise treadmill testing, to assist cardiologist in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnostic evaluations, interventional procedures, and patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations, including echocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and specialized imaging such as interventional radiology .
- Monitor and record vital signs and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional procedures to ensure patient stability.
- Evaluate anatomy and physiology of the heart using sonography, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Ensure proper documentation of all procedures, findings, and patient information while adhering to hospital policies and medical terminology standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience performing cardiac ultrasound procedures with proficiency in sonography techniques.
- Knowledge of interventional cardiology, including interventional radiology procedures.
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and vital signs assessment.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular care.
