What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at Silver Star?
Maintains, cleans, and repairs all company buildings and grounds as needed and assigned. Develops a routine and schedule to visit each company site for regular and/or needed maintenance and repair work. Monitors and repairs all company mechanical systems. Works with Maintenance Coordinator to ensure all day-to-day duties are fulfilled.
Essential Job Functions /
· Maintain all company buildings and grounds.
· Ensures that all company buildings and central offices are maintained and clean.
· Keeps all company lawn sprinkling systems in good working order.
· Perform or oversee mowing, weeding, and flower beds at company locations.
· Maintains flower beds and other shrubbery at required company locations.
· Perform or oversee, and schedule weed control at all required company locations.
· Performs all snow removal and parking lot maintenance at required locations.
· Maintains records, and updates, replaces or repairs as needed, on all safety related or security related equipment, e.g., fire extinguishers, door locks, alarms, etc.and remove alarms, done by third party
· Maintains a repository for all company keys and a log of those who are assigned keys.
· Maintain and repair, or arrange for repair, all company mechanical, electrical, air conditioning, and other systems as needed and assigned.
· Maintain adequate inventory of supplies and/or parts for regular service on building mechanical systems.
· Supports Company through personal use of products and services and proactively promoting it within the community.
· Ensures Company image is represented in the look of our facilities.
· Prepares various documents and maintains various records.
· Other duties as assigned.
· Adhere to corporate policies and procedures.
· Ensure exceptional customer service to internal customers.
· Maintain, record and repair as needed, hardware associated with door access, ex. Door knobs, key pads – pertains to highlighted bullet above
· Remove CO’s from highlighted bullet point, CO’s are taken care of through CO Tech
· Hold, maintain or ability to acquire a CDL within 2 years of employment
· Hold, maintain or acquire a medical card within 6 months of employment
· Maintain and repair light electrical and plumbing
· Install, maintain, diagnose Entry “Paxton” systems
Fleet
· PM equipment and light mechanic work
· Welding and fabrication
· Vehicle and Equipment diagnostics
Minimum Education Requirements:
· High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience preferred.
· Ability to hold a valid Wyoming or Idaho Driver's License.
