Security Regional Manager

Location: All client locations in Southern Illinois (Travel Required)

We are searching for a Security Supervisor to add to our team that will manage our accounts in southern Illinois. You will work closely with the rest of our operations team to ensure our clients are receiving outstanding service from our armed officers.

Duties Include:

• Manage subordinate staff at Silver Star Protections Group client locations.
• Manage client relationships.
• Prepare, manage and oversee a daily/weekly and monthly schedule for subordinates.
• Prepares and implements security plans (post orders) at client locations. .
• Ensure existing staff completes mandatory continuing education.
• Ensures subordinate staff keeps all licensing and certifications up to date.
• Cultivates and develops new business opportunities and relationships.
• Conducts randomized inspections of officers at client locations.
• Maintains equipment and uniform inventory.
• Ensure the client site is provided with high-quality security services and build and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
• Drive the organization’s culture, processes, practices, and systems
• Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations
• Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities, account trends, and other topics
• Responsible for tracking and effective utilization of company equipment in the field including technology, vehicles, etc.
• Stays current on federal, state, and local guidelines relative to our services
• Administer the job evaluation program
• Develop and maintain effective employee, employer relations
• Develop talent acquisition solutions to meet client demands for security solutions. Recruit for vacant security officer positions throughout the company
• Stay informed on human resources developments, employment laws and regulations and policy implications to company
• Manage all overtime, develop solutions to minimize overtime
• Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants and referred candidates)
• Ensure compliance with HR rules and regulations
• Manage and resolve HR related issues as assigned
• Utilize analytics to conducts research, approve, and make further recommendations for appropriate learning management systems and databases
• Train new and existing staff
• Cultivates and develops new business opportunities and relationships
• Represents Silver Star at meeting and conferences
• Maintain employee files in a manner consistent with state laws
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Military or law enforcement background preferred.
• Must have high school diploma/GED. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid PERC, FOID, Unarmed Basic Security Training certification, and Original Firearms Training certification (230#).
• Must be able to able to obtain any necessary firearm and security licenses after hire
• Ability to be on call at all times to resolve client site issues and scheduling conflicts
• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Be able to fluently write, speak, and read English
• An expert in security operations and understands all laws and regulations for armed officers in Illinois
• Must have supervisory experience
• Must have a valid State of Illinois Driver’s License
• Be able to successfully complete a background check and reference check
