Job Summary
We are seeking an and experienced and motivated Regional Manager to oversee our regional portfolio of over 15 plus properties including established and new construction and lease-up operations across the Spokane Washington area. The position requires oversight of management, turns, underwriting files, training and tenant satisfaction. We are a long-term, highly regarded Owner/Management company in business for over 30-years. We specialize in Section 42 Low Income Housing (LIHTC), so tax credit and HOTMA experience and familiarity with Washington State Housing and Finance Commission (WSFHC)required. The compensation, equating to $75,000 to $100,000 (DOE), includes housing and a company vehicle, a new townhome apartment with all utilities included plus employee health insurance paid by employer after 60-days, and 401(k). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing tenants and teams, driving occupancy development, and implementing procedural initiatives. This role requires a results-oriented individual who can effectively manage projects, improve processes, and enhance occupancy while ensuring the highest level of our company's vision. Only experience, qualified apply with solid verifiable work history and business references. Must be current HOTMA trained.
Experience in 3-4 large properties or at least 7 smaller properties preferred.
Duties
- Supervise and lead regional teams to achieve operational goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance leasing plan and tenant stability.
- Oversee apartment management initiatives to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality government standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to team members.
- Analyze occupancy data and apartment turnovers to identify trends and develop areas for improvement.
- Foster relationships with tenants and state agencies to adhere to LIHTC and WSAFC requirements.
- Implement, suggest, and process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to align regional objectives with overall company vision.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a similar industry.
- Strong apartment management experience and maintenance knowledge
- Demonstrated ability in apartment development, management and affordable housing guidelines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills.
- Proficiency in LIHTC, WSHFC and HOTMA.
- Ability to motivate teams and drive results through engaged leadership.
- A proactive approach towards problem-solving and process improvement.
