Job Overview
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms to ensure they are safe, hygienic, and maintained in an orderly manner.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment, tools, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
- Ensure all work areas are kept neat, safe, and hazard-free at all times.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform other related duties assigned to support the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility.
Experience
- Experience with cleaning in senior living community preferred.
- Experience working with elderly preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to bend, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 pounds as needed.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
