Housekeeper
Silver Spring Personal Care is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms to ensure a safe, hygienic, and orderly environment.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment, tools, and storage areas in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
- Keep all work areas neat, safe, and free of hazards.
- Follow established cleaning procedures, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other housekeeping-related duties as assigned to support the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
QualificationsExperience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, particularly in a senior living, healthcare, or residential setting.
- Experience working with older adults is preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to bend, stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 pounds as needed.
