What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Person position at Silver Spring Country Club?
Objective: Assists servers by providing friendly, responsive service to create and exceptional dining experience for all of our members and their guests.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the dining and service areas which include sweeping, sanitizing of tables and chairs and other light cleaning duties
· Set up dining tables before and after each service to the current dining setup.
· Clear dirty dishes, silverware, linen and any other finished items from each table.
· Polishing of silverware and glassware.
· Prepare water pitchers and glassware for service.
· Folding bread napkins, set up and break down of bread service.
· Be part of a team. Work together and be attentive to each other‘s needs before and during the course of service.
· Empty garbage’s and bring out linen bags at the end of service.
· Make sure the dining room and service areas are neat, clean and ready for service.
· Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by assignment/
· Assists service staff in their duties.
· Assist with set up and break down of private events which include moving chafers, tables, chairs, dance floor and other various equipment.
· Perform other duties as requested by a manager or supervisor.
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
· Must be able to work in a busy environment which can often include slippery conditions
· Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers when needed.
· Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 40 lbs.
