Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring physical security protocols are upheld.
- Operate access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and maintain constant situational awareness.
- Respond promptly to incidents by writing detailed incident reports and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary.
- Perform background checks on new employees or visitors when required, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Manage emergency response procedures including fire safety, AED operation, CPR administration, and Taser deployment if necessary.
- Enforce security regulations diligently while demonstrating excellent customer service skills to assist visitors and staff courteously.
Skills
- Proven experience in surveillance techniques, CCTV operation, or physical security roles.
- Military or law enforcement background with knowledge of incident report writing and conflict de-escalation strategies.
- Training in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and emergency response procedures to handle medical emergencies confidently.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or securing premises.
- Familiarity with access control systems, firearm handling, Taser use, and compliance with security regulations.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Excellent observational skills combined with a proactive approach to patrolling and maintaining safety standards.
