What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Trimmer position at Silver Sage Wellness?
Trimming Agents provide on-site trimming of Silver Sage Wellness flower and assist the cultivation team during harvests. Trimming Agents complete tasks assigned by the Cultivation Director, Trim Manager and/or Trim Leads to ensure the aesthetic appeal and high quality of Silver Sage Wellness products. Trimming Agents must carry out day-to-day tasks including bucking, trimming, hanging, and drying of cannabis. Must maintain excellent personal hygiene, workspace cleanliness, and quality control measures in accordance with the State and standards set by Silver Sage Wellness.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Minimum one year of experience in a cannabis facility is helpful but no experience is required. Excellent personal hygiene is a must. Effective time-management skills and the ability to learn our methods and policies is crutial. Ability to sit and trim for extended time periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing and challenging environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are very important to this role. If you cannot work well with others you will not thrive here.
Must be over 21 years of age and able to pass a federal background check to qualify for an industry work card, which must be successfully processed before working for our company.

CORE JOB DUTIES
1. Trimming:
- Responsible for trimming Silver Sage Wellness flower while ensuring high quality and company standards are met.
- Perform repetitive tasks for long period of time.
- Strictly adheres to hygiene and cleaning//sanitation policies set by Silver Sage Wellness and the State of Nevada
- Assist with harvesting and post-harvest room clean up
- Maintain accurate records of product trimmed to ensure product identification and quality control
2. Facility Cleanliness and Quality Control:
- Must come in with clean clothes, ready to work.
- Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe workspace and cultivation facility
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment at all times
- Report all quality control issues during harvest to the trim supervisor immediately
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AS REQUIRED
JOB SCOPE
Operates with direct supervision from Trim Manager and Trim Leads. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks. Must be able to take instruction and follow through with correct implementation.
