What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper Pump Attendant position at SILVER REEF CASINO?
The Pump Attendant at Lummi Bay Market is required to provide superior customer service, ensure customer satisfaction to all store patrons, and cross-train in all areas of the store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Assist customers at the fuel island with any Issues while refueling their vehicles.
2. Ensure all pumps are kept in operating order and receipt printers have paper.
3. Welcome customers to the fuel area, thank them when leaving, and offer help with pumping.
4. Resolve customer complaints and answer questions.
5. Open and/or close the store according to policy and procedure.
6. Keep fuel islands and pumps clean, neat, and orderly and free of graffiti.
7. Conduct inventory cycle and physical counts of supplies required.
8. Crosscheck product delivery with vendors.
9. Maintain store exterior by regularly cleaning and emptying trash receptacles on fuel islands.
10. Participate in on-going training as required.
11. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of store operations, from opening and closing procedures to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of fuel islands and pumps.
Proficiency with customer service and effectively resolving complaints.
Ability to assist customers at the fuel island and maintain fuel pumps in operating order.
Competence In Inventory management, from conducting cycles and physical counts to cross-checking product delivery with vendors.
Skilled in exterior store maintenance, including fuel island trash upkeep.
Able to utilize a computer to clock-in/out, use a POS system, handheld scanner and other electronic equipment as required to perform job duties.
Ability to interact respectfully and calmly with customers and staff at all times.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training as required.
Must meet a minimum age requirement to be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests to be eligible for and maintain employment, as required by the LCC Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
Must pass an extensive criminal background check.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with clocking in/out equipment and learning systems required by job duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Education Preferred: N/A.
Experience: Three (3) months of customer service experience preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: Must possess a valid Washington State Driver's license and meet eligibility requirements for tribal insurance.
A combination of education and experience may be considered as a substitute for a degree requirement
