Summary: Takes responsibility for all food and beverage areas during assigned shift. Assists in hiring, scheduling, training and implementing policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or credited courses in business or hospitality (job experience may be substituted for education requirements)
- Minimum 2 years of Food and Beverage experience
- Have knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Must be motivated and demonstrate superior customer relations
- Must be 21 years of age
- Acquire Food Handlers permit within 30 days of hire
- Must successfully complete 90 day probationary/training period to maintain employment
License Requirement(s):
- Class III, MAST permit, Washington State Food Handlers Permit
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervises the department on assigned shift, including administrative and secretarial work, interviews, and maintaining products, supplies and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with all regulations regarding alcohol, health and safety for employees and customers.
- Gives superior customer service at all times.
- Must be able to problem solve all guest complaints in a positive and professional manner
- Ensures food quality and quantity in food service areas.
- Trains subordinates.
- Delegates work and cleaning duties
- Prepares daily reports.
- Makes recommendations to improve menu offerings, service, and procedures.
- Monitors food temperatures and times on precooked food.
- Performs other duties as requested.

- Ability to work within a strong team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. holidays and weekends
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and routine paperwork
- Capable of lifting 25 lbs.
- Standing or walking for long periods.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes.
- Work in close spaces while working with others.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Will be exposed to food odors.
- Stand on tile, mats.
- Hazards: chemicals, equipment blades, hot food, wet floors, knives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist Food & Beverage Management in implementing established procedures for the Food & Beverage Department.
- Administer the Food & Beverage policies and procedures in all food and beverage outlets.
- Train and evaluate food and beverage personnel.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all Food & Beverage employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages to patrons and employees.
- Compile, adjust and post personnel shift schedules weekly and as needed.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Ensure accurate record keeping.
- Prepare, review, and analyze reports, as assigned by Food and Beverage Management.
- Ability to be a working supervisor to perform as Food and Beverage Server, bartender, and/or Cashier as needed.
- Assist with interviews and hiring for positions within the food and Beverage Department, as directed by venue managers.
- Promote positive customer relations and resolve complaints made by patrons and/or employees regarding food and/or service.
- Assist with monthly food, liquor, beer and wine inventory, creating spreadsheets to track.
- Assist with evaluating performance of all front of the house employees.
- Use, train and monitor Info Genesis POS system.
- Assure all venues are covered accordingly.
- Responsible for knowing all events in the property.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Display sensitivity to Native American Culture
- Operate within the parameters of the Silver Reef Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations.
- Other duties may be assigned.
