Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA), also known as a Caregiver, Resident Care Assistant (RCA), or Resident Assistant, to support residents in a warm, home-like environment. This role is essential to maintaining residents' comfort, safety, and quality of life while working closely with a supportive care team.
Our organization operates multiple residential homes in New Hampshire, offering flexibility and opportunities to work in different settings. As a PCA, you will play a meaningful role in the daily lives of our residents and contribute to a culture of respect, teamwork, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Observe residents’ conditions and report changes to nursing or supervisory staff
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Assist with meals and light housekeeping as needed
- Work collaboratively with the care team to support resident well-being
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a PCA or in a similar caregiving role is preferred
- Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is highly desirable
- Basic cooking and housekeeping skills
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with mobility
- Must pass required background checks
- Must be able to complete a TB test and health clearance prior to employment
Schedule & Shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM -11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends required
Work Location:

- Charlestown, NH
