CERTIFIED MED AIDE (CMA) AM Part Time Day Shift

Overview
7 Bed home plus in Andale KS.

Looking for a Part time med aid with additional hours available if desired.

Fun environment!

HOURS

7AM-3PM 2 days a week to include every other Monday and Friday and every other weekend.

Duties

• Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
• Monitor patients for side effects and report any concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct routine checks of vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Provide support for tube feeding, catheter care, and other specialized medical needs as required.
• Utilize EMR
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents while promoting dignity and respect.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or acute care environments preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs assessment.
• Familiarity with caregiving practices for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or memory care.
• Proficiency in medical documentation processes and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
