Position Summary
Are you an experienced construction technician ready to work on a team in protecting Utah's water resources? We are seeking a motivated Environmental Installation Technician to join our field operations team. In this hands-on role, you will be crucial in managing stormwater erosion control and ensuring permit compliance on commercial construction projects. You’ll be part of a small crew, installing and maintaining stormwater controls on construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to different job sites using company vehicles with other crew members across Utah and surrounding states, with potential for overnight stays
- Perform labor intensive work at different constructions sites.
- Must show up on time to scheduled shifts
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
- Perform manual labor using hand tools to install and maintain erosion control products.
Requirements
- Need to be willing to work in all weather conditions, installing & maintaining BMPs.
- Willing to follow directions and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs (sometimes more with help) and be in good physical condition
- Must be willing to work some longer days during the busy season
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic knowledge of Construction Site Safety
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret maps of different locations
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, & DOT Physical Required (if hired)
- We provide PPE including helmet, visibility vest and safety glasses.
- Employee provides a high ankle leather boot with puncture resistant sole and steel/composite toe.
