What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Basketball Coach - (Girls) position at Silver Lake Regional Middle School?
Silver Lake Regional Middle School is in search of a middle school girls' basketball coach in charge of management and training of the middle school girls' basketball team.
Qualifications:
- Experience playing basketball; experience working with students
- Previous coaching experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Teach the skills and strategies of basketball to student-athletes in grade 7 and 8.
- Be a role-model and teacher of basketball, including; practice, game day coaching, conditioning of athletes, supervision of athletes, maintenance of practice facility and equipment.
- Determine awards for students and provide the athletic department with a list of team needs.
- Communicate regularly with families as needed.
