What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional (DLC) position at Silver Lake Regional High School?
SLRHS is seeking a paraprofessional to support students in the Developmental Learning Center (DLC).
The DLC is a substantially separate program that serves students with intellectual disabilities.
Primary roles and responsibilities will include:
- providing academic support to students in the DLC class
- modifying work for students in general education classes
- monitoring students progress, proctoring MCAS exams
- communicating with classroom teachers
- assisting with transitions
Other duties may be assigned by the Special Education Coordinator and/or building Principal.
Hours are 7:30am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate is between $18.28 - $22.38 depending on experience.
As a full time employee, this is a benefits eligible position through Silver Lake including paid sick and personal days.
Salary : $18 - $22
