We have an opening for a Part-Time Night Shift Nurse with Supervisory Experience  

Enjoy working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team structure. Psychiatric nursing experience with acute care or dual disorder patient populations required. The ability to flourish in a fast-paced environment where the total emphasis is on delivering optimum patient care is vital.

A qualified candidate will provide oversight of and leadership to the care/services provided by employees of a free-standing psychiatric hospital. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement processes to ensure the efficient and effective achievement of patient/client outcomes in accordance with physician orders.   

Schedule: Three shifts per week from 4:00pm - 12:00am. 

• Bachelor of Science Degree, preferred.  
• Licensed RN currently registered to practice in the State of Connecticut.   
• Psychiatric nursing experience with acute care, dual disorder and eating disorder population, required.

• Supervisory experience, and interest in Relief Supervisor role, preferred.
• Med-surg experience a plus.

An RN at Silver Hill Hospital is responsible for the following tasks and duties:    

• The assessment of patients throughout hospitalization.  
• The identification of patient problems.  
• Participating in the plan of care.  
• Implementing and evaluating the interventions to meet the patient's needs.   
• Providing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
