We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features.
- Manage leasing paperwork and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the negotiation of lease agreements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain relationships with current tenants, addressing any concerns or issues related to property maintenance or facilities management.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track maintenance requests and coordinate repairs.
- Implement conflict management strategies to resolve tenant disputes amicably.
- Stay informed about local housing regulations, including Section 8 guidelines, to assist tenants effectively.
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, vendors, and team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes and facilities management is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient in using technology for administrative tasks, including leasing software and CMMS platforms.
