Merchandiser (Stone Oak-Live Oak areas) $15-$17/hr (DOE) + $1.50 extra /hr on weekends

Position Summary:
Ever wonder who creates beer displays that catch your eye at grocery stores?  Our Merchandisers do!  This position is a great opportunity to develop a career while learning about beer and different beverages that we distribute.  Merchandisers conduct daily merchandising activities in grocery stores including but not limited to building displays, permanent and paper Point of Sale (P.O.S.) placements, space management (within T.A.B.C. guidelines) pricing of products where allowed by retailers, including pricing, pull-ups including rotation per Company Policy. Job Duties:
1.    Restock account inventories by moving product from back rooms to cold boxes, displays and warm shelves in assigned accounts; must follow Code Date Policy and ensure rotation of product.
2.    Maintain knowledge of SEBev's complete and growing portfolio of Brands and Packages.
3.    Continually strive to achieve the number one position in each account in the placement of paper (promotional and theme) and permanent P.O.S. to ensure Silver Eagle dominance. 
4.    Ensure appropriate paper P.O.S. communicates the proper package and price to consumers.  
5.    Assist and/or builds displays with proper P.O.S. per Company policy, to meet retailer needs and to maximize product sales.
6.    Submit daily activity reports to supervisor.
7.    Manage time effectively to route daily work needs.        
8.    Adhere to strict safe working practices, Company policies, rules, regulations, correct obvious hazards immediately or report to supervisor if not immediately correctable.
9.    Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Physical Requirements:
1.    Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus).
2.    Continuous standing and walking, up to 8-10 hours at a time.
3.    Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs.  
4.    Ability to operate a two or four wheel dolly.
5.    Must be able to push 300 lbs dolly load and move 161 lbs kegs.
6.    Must be able to operate a forklift and a pallet jack.
7.    Frequent driving distances between 0-75 miles in one sitting.   
8.    Frequent climbing, pushing, pulling and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, bay roll up doors, straps, curb ramps, truck doors, boxes, cases, kegs, truck gear shift.

Working Conditions:
1.    All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow.
2.    Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions.
3.    Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes.
4.    Work hours will vary daily due to business needs.

Supervision:
Position reports directly to an Merchandiser Service Manager. Will work directly with various team members to achieve departmental sales goals.

Salary : $15 - $17
