Entry Level Clerk / Cashier- Route Settlement Clerk $15/hr

Position Summary:

Collects, verifies, reconciles and reports daily receipts and monies collected from the sales team, including but not limited to sales reps, sales specialists, and area sales managers. 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Distributes and collects all truck safe keys and route stamps before verifying daily receipts.
2. Matches driver deposits forms with the daily receipts. Counts and verifies each driver’s cash and checks.
3. Completes all deposit tickets (check and total) for daily sales receipts, and sends one copy of each deposit ticket to the Office Manager, one with the deposit and one with the armored car company.
4. Files all load out paperwork in the appropriate route folder
5. Prepares cash recap, sales recap, and routing package and distributes accordingly.
6. Settles each employee’s route and charges the appropriate AR accounts.
7. Ensures each route is settled nightly and generates loads selected for register report
8. Balances cash box and collateral/swag receipts daily.
9. Performs file maintenance, including opening new accounts and/or revise existing accounts.
10. Verify that Driver fills out the Daily Inspection Vehicle Report prior to handing the safe key.
11. Verify that cab and trailer are cleaned of all trash.
12. Verify that all beer has been down-stacked and all pallets have been condensed.
13. Count and reconcile all beer and pallets on the truck to verify the quantities match the driver's load printout. 
    1. Report discrepancies as required.
14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

1. High School or GED required.
2. Basic Microsoft Office knowledge including Microsoft Excel.
3. Able to work in different climates, both controlled and non-controlled.
4. Must be able to move/lift at least 30 lbs.
5. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be detailed oriented.
6. Must be able to successfully accomplish all tasks with minimal supervision.
7. Must handle alcohol and work within T.A.B.C Guidelines.

Working Conditions:

1. All weather conditions (indoor & outdoor) including high temperatures , cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow
2. Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions
3. Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes
4. Anticipated work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with one hour lunch break. Additional hours during the week and weekends as business needs dictate.

Physical Requirements:

1. Talk, hear, see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)
2. Continuous standing and walking
3. Continuous lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20-161 lbs   
4. Must be able to pass pre employment physical and drug screen.
