What are the responsibilities and job description for the Silver Dollar City - Entertainment Rivertown Ramblers Musician, Full-Time Seasonal position at Silver Dollar City?
This is a Seasonal position from 2/19/2024 until 10/13/2024.
Summary: We are looking for individuals who play guitar/banjo and keys to join our 2024 Rivertown Ramblers Team! Application and audition are both required to be considered for position. Audition submission information will be sent via email after application has been submitted.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Rehearses parts to learn songs, lines, and cues as directed.
- Reads music and plays in an ensemble in rehearsal and performances.
- Wears costume to change or enhance appearance and portrayal of character or role.
- Takes direction from the Director or directs self and others in the production.
- Able to communicate efficiently
- Expressive abilities, poise, stage presence, and a feel for music are required
- The ability to read sheet music is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to lift and/or move 10 pounds frequently to 50 pounds maximum
- The ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete continuously
- The ability to perform choreographed actions related to performing frequently
- The ability to remember locations, understand and carry out instructions
- The ability to work in extreme weather occasionally
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in theme park, theater, and amateur or professional productions is preferred.
- Live stage performance experience is required.
- Formal training in music theory is required.
- Singing experience is preferred.
