What are the responsibilities and job description for the Silver Dollar City - Baker I, Eva and Delilah's Bakery (Full-Time Seasonal, 2026) position at Silver Dollar City Ozark Mtns?
Summary: Follow the sweet aroma of cinnamon and freshly baked pastries into Eva & Delilah's where you can work preparing our Danishes, famous cinnamon rolls and other freshly baked goods. We are looking for friendly candidates who are comfortable demonstrating the production process of our baked goods while Creating Memories Worth Repeating® with our guests!
This is a Full-time Seasonal position from now until 1/2/27.
Early shift begins at 4:00 AM during regular season.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Make guests feel welcome and appreciated.
- Maintain a themed environment.
- Prepare & bake product to specification.
- Maintain a safe food environment and follow safety procedures.
- Ensure proper temperatures for food.
- Ensure proper display and presentation of food product.
- Manage production to meet business needs and control waste.
- Implement shop closing & cleaning procedures.
- Maintain positive, helpful relationships with teammates.
Required Skills:
- Work Independently – can execute tasks and assignments independently with minimal oversight.
- Time Management - the ability to prioritize tasks to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required Experience:
- 1 – 2 years of high-volume baking experience preferred.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand and correctly apply weights and measures to recipes.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to operate ovens/mixers/sheeter
- Must be able to obtain in-house ServSafe food training class.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, push and pull an average weight of 25 pounds to 50 pounds maximum.
- Stand/walk on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete for 67 – 100% of the time.
- Work in extreme temperature conditions related to a Bakery.
- Wear personal protective gear (Hair restraints, food safe gloves, etc) correctly most of the day.
- Remember locations, understand and carry out instructions.
