Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, PET scan, mammography, DEXA scan, and nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform specialized imaging procedures such as interventional radiology and sonography with precision and attention to detail.
- Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety procedures and implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
- Assist in urgent care and emergency room settings by providing rapid and accurate diagnostic imaging for trauma and acute conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for diagnostic evaluation, ensuring optimal patient positioning and comfort throughout procedures.
- Maintain thorough documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment operation logs.
- Uphold aseptic techniques and infection control standards during all patient interactions and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including emergency room or Level I/II trauma center settings preferred.
- Proficiency in operating a wide range of medical imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, PET scans, and nuclear medicine devices.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiologic imaging principles.
- Demonstrated ability to perform interventional radiography procedures with precision.
- Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing safety protocols in high-pressure environments.
- Experience with ultrasound (sonography) techniques is a plus.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.

Pay: $30.70 - $38.38 per hour
