The Role
We are looking for a passionate, patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You will be a key player in our "Preventive Team," helping patients achieve and maintain optimum oral health through education and high-quality clinical care. Location: Ripon, Wisconsin (Relocation Assistance Available)
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide thorough and gentle prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing for patients of all ages.
- Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital radiographs (including FMX and Panorex) and utilize 3D Cone Beam/CT Imaging where applicable.
- Periodontal Therapy: Perform periodontal screenings and treatments in line with our clinical protocols to arrest dental decay and manage periodontal disease.
- Education: Act as an oral health counselor by educating patients on proper hygiene techniques, nutrition, and the importance of preventive care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed digital patient charts, recording medical/dental histories and providing treatments in compliance with HIPAA.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our dentists to develop and present comprehensive treatment plans.
- Sterilization: Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to strict infection-control policies and OSAP/OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Wisconsin Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification; Local Anesthesia certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a private practice setting is a plus, but we welcome motivated new graduates who align with our values.
- Skills: Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix/Eaglesoft) and digital imaging technology.
- Interpersonal: Excellent verbal communication skills and a "cheerful" demeanor that helps alleviate patient anxiety.
